Tom's Drag
Our Craft

how our characters are made

Six distinct stages transform a simple sketch into a unique character full of colour, detail and personality.

Sketching

Every character begins with an idea. Its proportions, patterns and personality first take shape on paper.

02

Prototyping

The first sketch is brought to life by hand as a three-dimensional form, defining the proportions, expression and details of the character before the crafting process begins.

Crafting

Depending on size and design, our characters are either cast in resin or handcrafted in fibreglass by skilled artisans.

Painting

Layer upon layer of colour is applied by hand. Patterns, contrasts and details gradually give each character its distinctive personality.
