Giraffes – hand-painted art pieces full of character by Tom’s Drag

The giraffe is the flagship piece of Tom’s Drag. Roxanna Deluxe stands 150 cm tall, has flowers growing up her neck, golden boots on her feet and is adorned with alternating patterns and ornaments. She has been one of the studio’s most sought-after pieces for years. Standing beside her are Little Roxanna for the sideboard; Roxy and Roxette, who look down from a height of just under 3.0 metres with their heads raised or lowered; Roxanna XL, the big sister standing just under 2 metres tall; as well as the slightly smaller figures named Carmen, Gloria, Effi and Olivia. These are statement pieces, conversation starters and works of art that lend a room personality and character.

Whether as an eye-catching feature in the hallway or as a pair next to the sofa: each giraffe is hand-painted layer by layer and finished with golden accents. Crowns, golden boots, black-and-white chequered patterns, the characteristic cigarettes and the eyelashes are the distinctive details that set an original apart. Finally, each piece is inspected in Germany and prepared for its journey around the world.
