Tesoro is a long rectangular wooden box made for jewellery, letters, watches and the narrow collection of things that never quite find a drawer. The fitted lid keeps them together. The painted surface ensures the box itself remains very easy to find.Each Tesoro is built and painted by hand. Yellow, violet, blue and coral colour is applied in layers across the lid and sides, with flowers and curling ornament drawn freehand around the rectangular form. The pattern meets at the corners without becoming printed or repeated. Small changes in line belong to the process, so no two Tesoro boxes are identical.Place it on a dressing table, desk, sideboard or hallway console where its low shape can sit beneath taller objects. Use it for dry contents rather than food. Clean with a dry cloth, avoid solvents and do not soak the painted wood. Tesoro is intended for indoor use. The name means treasure. What qualifies is entirely your decision.
