Ella steps from the Fairy Tale Collection in a costume rich with rainbow colour and playful ornament. She looks as though she has left the old story intact but insisted on redesigning the final scene.Cast in marble resin, Ella is trimmed, sanded and painted by hand. Patterns are layered across her costume, with the face and smallest details finished separately. No two figures are identical.Place her indoors on a shelf, desk or sideboard among books and collected objects. The fairy tale may be familiar; Ella’s wardrobe certainly is not.

Six steps, many hands and one unmistakable character. From the first sketch to the final inspection, every figure is created with careful craftsmanship. Depending on its size, it is either cast in resin or handcrafted in fibreglass. Layer by layer, the colour is applied by hand. No two pieces are exactly alike — the artist’s hand always remains visible.
