Cat Matilda
Matilda is a carnival cat in three heights — 13, 23 and 33 cm — wearing a fabric headpiece above her exuberant Tom’s Drag costume. She has dressed for an event and sees no reason to wait for an invitation.Each Matilda is cast in marble resin, painted by hand and completed with her textile headwear. Layered patterns and fine details give every figure an individual finish.Place her indoors on a shelf, sideboard or hallway console. Handle the fabric detail gently. Matilda supplies the occasion; the room need only attend.

Six steps, many hands and one unmistakable character. From the first sketch to the final inspection, every figure is created with careful craftsmanship. Depending on its size, it is either cast in resin or handcrafted in fibreglass. Layer by layer, the colour is applied by hand. No two pieces are exactly alike — the artist’s hand always remains visible.
