Astaire is a wall console supported by a pair of attractive male legs in jeans. It takes the familiar furniture silhouette somewhere wonderfully unexpected and turns the hallway into a stage.Astaire combines wood and marble resin, with the sculptural legs and console top finished in vivid Tom’s Drag detail. A hanging fixture is incorporated into the back of the top.Astaire is not freestanding and must be securely fixed to a suitable wall using appropriate hardware for the wall type. Once installed indoors, the legs appear ready to walk off with the entire conversation.

Six steps, many hands and one unmistakable character. From the first sketch to the final inspection, every figure is created with careful craftsmanship. Depending on its size, it is either cast in resin or handcrafted in fibreglass. Layer by layer, the colour is applied by hand. No two pieces are exactly alike — the artist’s hand always remains visible.
