Dragon Dragan
Dragan is a seated dragon with gold-toned spikes, hands resting on his knees and a smile that makes prophecy seem unexpectedly sociable. Chinese tradition associates dragons with life, sunrise, spring and health. Dragan appears pleased to accept the responsibilities, provided the seating arrangement remains comfortable.Each Dragan is cast in marble resin, released, trimmed and sanded by hand. Orange, violet, green and black-and-white patterns are painted in layers across the compact body, with freehand details following the folded legs. The face, hands, shoes and raised spikes are finished carefully at the end. Every brush shifts the pattern slightly, so no two Dragans are identical.Place him on a desk, shelf, hallway console or beside books where the seated outline and gold-toned spikes remain visible. Dragan is intended for indoor decoration. He may symbolise wisdom, vision and good fortune. He also looks as though he knows something amusing and has decided not to share it yet.

Six steps, many hands and one unmistakable character. From the first sketch to the final inspection, every figure is created with careful craftsmanship. Depending on its size, it is either cast in resin or handcrafted in fibreglass. Layer by layer, the colour is applied by hand. No two pieces are exactly alike — the artist’s hand always remains visible.
