Dragon Dragana
Dragana is a seated dragon with gold-toned spikes, folded legs and the calm smile of someone who can see past, present and future without finding any of them especially alarming. Her pale green face and violet sleeves give the ancient symbolism a rather more personal wardrobe.Each Dragana is cast in marble resin, released, trimmed and sanded by hand. Violet, turquoise, coral and black-and-white patterns are painted in layers across the compact form, with freehand ornament following the folded legs. The face, hands, shoes and raised spikes are finished carefully at the end. No two Draganas carry the brushwork identically.She belongs on a desk, sideboard, broad shelf or hallway console where the seated outline remains clear. Place her beside Dragan for a pair, or alone among books and collected objects. Dragana is intended for indoor decoration. Good fortune is traditionally associated with dragons. The composed expression suggests she expected as much.

Six steps, many hands and one unmistakable character. From the first sketch to the final inspection, every figure is created with careful craftsmanship. Depending on its size, it is either cast in resin or handcrafted in fibreglass. Layer by layer, the colour is applied by hand. No two pieces are exactly alike — the artist’s hand always remains visible.
