Duck Alain
Duck Alain is the chef who brings colour to the kitchen before the first ingredient reaches the pan. Available in 23 and 42 cm heights, he combines culinary authority with the unmistakable suggestion that dinner may become theatre. Each Alain is cast in marble resin, trimmed, sanded and painted by hand. Layered colour and freehand ornament shape his chef’s costume, while the beak, eyes and smaller details receive careful finishing. Every figure varies slightly.Place him on a kitchen shelf, dresser or dining-room console, safely away from heat and splashes. Alain is intended for indoor decoration. He cannot improve the recipe, but his expression may encourage greater confidence with the seasoning.
Complete Collection
painted, never printed
Six steps, many hands and one unmistakable character. From the first sketch to the final inspection, every figure is created with careful craftsmanship. Depending on its size, it is either cast in resin or handcrafted in fibreglass. Layer by layer, the colour is applied by hand. No two pieces are exactly alike — the artist’s hand always remains visible.
