Marilyn recalls the unforgettable billowing-skirt pose, reimagined with dark hair, a Florentine hat and an easy handbag. She is glamorous without standing still for nostalgia, and arrives in two sections for assembly.Each figure is formed in fibreglass and finished by hand. Layered colour and freehand ornament define the costume and character, while the face and smaller details receive careful attention. Individual brushwork gives every piece slight variations.Give Marilyn a clear indoor floor position with room for the skirt and hat. Assemble the two sections carefully and place her on a level surface. She needs no wind machine; the pose has been managing perfectly well on its own.

Depending on its size, it is either cast in resin or handcrafted in fibreglass. Layer by layer, the colour is applied by hand. No two pieces are exactly alike — the artist’s hand always remains visible.
