Edward recalls the poet Gérard de Nerval, who famously walked a lobster on a lead and praised the animal’s calm seriousness. Tom’s Drag gives that unlikely companion the costume the story was missing.Cast in marble resin, Edward is trimmed, sanded and painted by hand. Layered colour and freehand details make every lobster individual.Display him indoors on a desk, shelf or sideboard. He knows the secrets of the sea, remains relaxed and, most conveniently, does not bark.

Six steps, many hands and one unmistakable character. From the first sketch to the final inspection, every figure is created with careful craftsmanship. Depending on its size, it is either cast in resin or handcrafted in fibreglass. Layer by layer, the colour is applied by hand. No two pieces are exactly alike — the artist’s hand always remains visible.
