Side Table Tabéa
Tabéa is a round wooden side table with three long legs and enough surface for a lamp, books or a drinks tray. She comes in 37, 52 and 80 cm diameters, moving from compact side table to a generous low table without losing the striped legs or pointed shoes.Each Tabéa is built and finished by hand. Layered fields of coral, turquoise, orange and blue spread across the circular top, with curling ornament and black-and-white checks drawn freehand. The pattern continues down the legs to the shoes, so the table reads from every side. The surface is sealed for daily use, and no two Tabéa tables carry the brushwork identically.The smaller sizes sit beside a chair or bed; the 80 cm version can hold the centre of a seating area. Use a dry cloth, avoid solvents and keep the painted surface away from direct midday sunlight. Tabéa is intended for indoor use. The job is practical. The legs have chosen a more theatrical interpretation.
