Buddha Nirvana
Nirvana is a Buddha head on a compact black pedestal, composed above a burst of freehand colour. The smaller scale suits a shelf or cabinet, but the expression remains entirely unhurried. It is the calmest character on the surface and knows it.Each Nirvana combines wood and marble resin and is finished by hand. The head is worked in warm metallic tones, while blue, coral, green and black-and-white pattern is painted in layers across the pedestal. The face, curls and narrow edges are completed carefully at the end. Nirvana is a numbered limited edition of 300 hand-finished pieces, and no two carry the brushwork identically.Place it on a sideboard, broad shelf, desk or bedside cabinet where the head can be seen at eye level. Nirvana works well among books or beside a lamp, especially when the surrounding objects are simpler. It is intended for indoor decoration. The edition is finite. The composure appears to be permanent.

Depending on its size, it is either cast in resin or handcrafted in fibreglass. Layer by layer, the colour is applied by hand. No two pieces are exactly alike — the artist’s hand always remains visible.
