Chameleon Camilla
Camilla is a chameleon with one eye on the past, one on the future and no apparent need to choose between them. She comes in 10 and 20 cm heights, carrying the same curled tail, steady stance and alert expression at both sizes.Each Camilla is cast in marble resin, released, trimmed and sanded by hand. Green, blue, coral and black-and-white patterns are painted in layers across the body, with freehand details following the curled tail and textured back. The eyes, feet and small gold-toned horn are finished carefully at the end. No two Camillas are identical.She belongs on a desk, shelf, hallway console or beside a plant where her side profile remains visible. The two sizes can be paired without becoming formal, or placed separately where a small character is needed. Camilla is intended for indoor decoration. She may be able to look in several directions at once. The rest of us can begin by noticing her.
