Clown Alfredo
Alfredo is a round clown with hands at his cheeks and the expression of someone delighted by a joke he has no intention of explaining. He comes in 12, 17 and 22 cm heights. The smallest is amused. The largest appears to have been laughing for some time.Each Alfredo is cast in marble resin, released, trimmed and sanded by hand. Coral, blue, green and black-and-white patterns are painted in layers across the rounded costume, with every check and curl drawn freehand. The face, red nose, hat and gold-toned shoes are completed carefully at the end. The brush changes subtly between figures, so no two Alfredos are identical.He belongs on a shelf, desk, hallway console or among books where his face remains visible. Different sizes work well together, assembling a small audience that has already enjoyed the performance. Alfredo is intended for indoor decoration. No joke is supplied.
