Clown Moretti
Moretti stands with hands in his pockets, hat tilted and the patient smile of someone waiting for the audience to understand the joke. He comes in 11 and 24 cm heights. The small version is discreetly amused; the larger has begun to wonder whether an explanation is necessary.Each Moretti is cast in marble resin, released, trimmed and sanded by hand. Yellow, turquoise, red and black-and-white patterns are painted in layers across the narrow costume, with freehand details following the jacket and trousers. The face, hat, shoes and small buttons are completed carefully at the end. Every brush shifts slightly, so no two Morettis are identical.He belongs on a desk, shelf, hallway console or among books where the expression can be seen at close range. The two sizes work well together without becoming a formal pair. Moretti is intended for indoor decoration. He may be waiting for applause. He is prepared to wait longer than you are.

Six steps, many hands and one unmistakable character. From the first sketch to the final inspection, every figure is created with careful craftsmanship. Depending on its size, it is either cast in resin or handcrafted in fibreglass. Layer by layer, the colour is applied by hand. No two pieces are exactly alike — the artist’s hand always remains visible.
