Elephant Hannibal
Hannibal is a small elephant dressed as though a carnival procession might begin at any moment. His feathered finery and rainbow colours give the traditional symbols of luck and long life a decidedly festive escort.Cast in marble resin, he is trimmed, sanded and painted by hand. Exotic ornament moves across the body in layered colour, while the face, trunk, feet and headdress receive their finishing details separately. No two figures are exactly alike.He suits a shelf, desk or sideboard, either alone or among other elephant characters. Hannibal is intended for indoor decoration. He brings good fortune with excellent manners, although the costume suggests he may not arrive quietly.

Six steps, many hands and one unmistakable character. From the first sketch to the final inspection, every figure is created with careful craftsmanship. Depending on its size, it is either cast in resin or handcrafted in fibreglass. Layer by layer, the colour is applied by hand. No two pieces are exactly alike — the artist’s hand always remains visible.
