Elephant Soliman
Soliman is a carnival elephant available in 14 and 23 cm heights. His feathered decoration, rainbow costume and steady stance give the symbols of luck and longevity a playful, worldly air. Each Soliman is cast in marble resin, then trimmed, sanded and painted by hand. Colour and freehand ornament are layered across the body before the face, trunk, feet and headdress are completed. Small variations ensure every figure is individual.Choose the smaller Soliman for a desk or cabinet and the larger for a shelf or console. Intended for indoor decoration, the two sizes also make a fine pair. He looks prepared for a long life, provided it includes regular invitations.
Complete Collection
painted, never printed
Six steps, many hands and one unmistakable character. From the first sketch to the final inspection, every figure is created with careful craftsmanship. Depending on its size, it is either cast in resin or handcrafted in fibreglass. Layer by layer, the colour is applied by hand. No two pieces are exactly alike — the artist’s hand always remains visible.
