Giraffe Carmen
Carmen is a slender, proud giraffe whose rich Tom’s Drag costume and magnificent hair recall a flamenco dancer. In 48, 53 and 59 cm heights, her long silhouette carries colour with effortless drama.Each figure is formed in marble resin and finished by hand. Layered colour and freehand ornament define the costume and character, while the face and smaller details receive careful attention. Individual brushwork gives every piece slight variations.Place Carmen on a broad shelf, low plinth or floor-level display according to size. Intended for indoor decoration, she needs a little space around her long outline. The music is imaginary; the pose needs no assistance.

Six steps, many hands and one unmistakable character. From the first sketch to the final inspection, every figure is created with careful craftsmanship. Depending on its size, it is either cast in resin or handcrafted in fibreglass. Layer by layer, the colour is applied by hand. No two pieces are exactly alike — the artist’s hand always remains visible.
