Hopper is a playful grasshopper from the avant-garde of insects. A fantastical Tom’s Drag costume sits above long brass legs, turning a garden familiar into an elegant small sculpture.The marble-resin body is painted by hand and paired with high-quality brass legs. Six steps, many hands and one unmistakable character. From the first sketch to the final inspection, every figure is created with careful craftsmanship. Depending on its size, it is either cast in resin or handcrafted in fibreglass. Layer by layer, the colour is applied by hand. No two pieces are exactly alike — the artist’s hand always remains visible.
