Marlene is a female octopus, wearing a top hat, carrying a walking stick, and holding a cigarillo nonchalantly in her mouth. With eight arms and plenty of cabaret charm, she gives the impression that the big stage was made just for her.

Depending on its size, it is either cast in resin or handcrafted in fibreglass. Layer by layer, the colour is applied by hand. No two pieces are exactly alike — the artist’s hand always remains visible.
