Rosetta sits upright with one hand behind her, one leg folded and the other arranged around the business of presenting a tealight. The 7 cm metal dish rests at shoulder height, offered with the composed expression of someone who knows the room has been waiting for better lighting.Each Rosetta is cast in marble resin, released, trimmed and sanded by hand. Coral, green, orange and blue colour is built in layers across the seated figure, meeting black-and-white checks along the limbs. The pale face, hands, shoes and metal dish are finished carefully at the edges. Every pattern is drawn freehand, and no two Rosettas are identical.She belongs on a sideboard, dining table, low shelf or generous mantelpiece where the seated outline remains clear. Rosetta works well beside books or a low vase, with the candle forming the highest point of the arrangement. Use a tealight of the intended size, keep the flame clear of painted sections and never leave it unattended. Let wax cool before lifting it away, then clean with a dry cloth. She is intended for indoor decoration and evenings that could use a better entrance.
